Escape the Western Australian winter with Raja4Divers
Swap winter for warm tropical waters! Dive or snorkel Raja Ampat's spectacular reefs and experience the world's richest marine biodiversity just a few hours from Western Australia while enjoying the secluded luxury of a private barefoot island resort.
Scientists have confirmed Raja Ampat to be the epicenter of global marine biodiversity. With the highest coral reef biodiversity for any area this size in the world, scientists consider these the world’s richest reefs, home to 75% of all known coral species and more than 1500 species of reef fish.
Did you know that Raja Ampat's global reputation owes much to Perth-based marine biologist Dr. Gerry Allen who set the world record for logging 374 fish species on a single dive in Raja Ampat and who released various reef fish identification books for this area?

The Resort
|
Built in the traditional Papuan style, Raja4Divers is a small authentic and luxuriously secluded diving and snorkeling resort under Swiss management, on a private barefoot island in Raja Ampat. Surrounded by pristine nature, the spacious bungalows offer relaxed holidays for a maximum of 24 divers and snorkelers.
Along a beautiful coconut palm fringed beach, 11 spacious and authentic Papuan style water bungalows for up to four people are built on stilts with local materials (128m²). The design relies on proven traditional building methods and blends with modern ideas in order to maximize the airflow and promote well-being, without compromising the natural surroundings. The large deck offers spectacular views, particularly at sunset, and conveys a complete sense of being one with nature. |
